Automatic SubIDs are a feature in Offerit that gives Affiliates the option to automatically categorize their referral statistics by subID. This allows affiliates to break down their referral statistics by whatever subID they wish to use, allowing for a great deal of flexibility in sorting and analyzing referral statistics.
This can be done by appending the following parameter to a referral linkcode:
?autocamp=myTrafficTag
Replace "myTrafficTag" in the URL with your preferred campaign name. If you input a subID name that does not yet exist, Offerit will automatically create a subID with that name. A subID name can contain up to 64 characters, and must consist of only letters and numbers.
Adding SubIDs
Offerit now offers the ability to use a comma-separated list of subIDs to separate one campaign. By adding the desired subIDs to the autocamp variable in the URL, affiliates can override the currently set campaign to use a subID made up of the chosen subIDs. This feature also offers compatibility with single-tag subIDs, so you do not necessarily have to split up your subIDs with multiple subIDs.
To override your subID, just add the following parameter with a comma-separated list of subIDs to a referral linkcode:
?autocamp=campaign,traffic,tags
Replace "campaign, traffic, tags" in the URL with a comma-separated list of subIDs that make up the subID with which the current subID will be overridden.
AutosubIDs
In addition, Offerit also offers the autosubIDs feature, which allows affiliates to add new subIDs to an existing subID on the fly. For example, you may want to add the banner subID to your subID, which uses top and blog. By using the "autosubIDs" feature, you can add that tag to create the top, blog, banner subID on the fly.
To use "autosubIDs", just append the following parameter to a referral linkcode:
?autosubIDs=my,traffic,tags
Replace "my,traffic, tags" in the URL with a comma-separated list of your preferred subIDs. If you input a subID name that does not yet exist, Offerit will automatically create tags with those names.
