Automatic SubIDs (autosubIDs) are a feature in Offerit that gives Affiliates the option to automatically categorize their referral statistics by subID. This allows affiliates to break down their referral statistics by whatever subID they wish to use, allowing for a great deal of flexibility in sorting and analyzing referral statistics. A subID name can contain up to 64 characters, and must consist of only letters and numbers.
Adding SubIDs
By adding the desired subIDs to the autocamp variable in the URL, affiliates can override the currently used subID set to a new subID set.
To override the current subID set, just add the following parameter with a comma-separated list of subIDs to a referral linkcode:
?autocamp=subID1,subID2,subID3
Replace "subID1,subID2,subID3" in the URL with a comma-separated list of subIDs that make up the subID set with which the current subID set will be overridden. This feature also offers compatibility with single subIDs, so you do not necessarily have to use a comma separated list of multiple subIDs. If you input a subID name that does not yet exist, Offerit will automatically create a subID with that name.
Autosubids
In addition, Offerit also provides an autosubIDs feature, which allows affiliates to add new subIDs to an existing subID set, rather than overwriting it. For example, you may want to add the banner subID to your subID set, which already uses top and blog. By using the "autosubIDs" feature, you can add that tag to create the top, blog, banner subID set on the fly.
To use "autosubIDs", just append the following parameter to a referral linkcode:
?autosubids=subID1,subID2,subID3
Replace "subID1,subID2,subID3" in the URL with a comma-separated list of your preferred subIDs. If you input a subID name that does not yet exist, Offerit will automatically create tags with those names.
