Admin-Only Settings
The Offerit Affiliate Admin Settings allow you to customize affiliates beyond the standard settings. Here you can manually mark In-House Accounts, indicate that certain documents have been received, set trust levels, and allow features like instant payments and manual invoices.
To customize your Affiliate Admin Settings, go to the Affiliates Admin, locate the affiliate, and click the "Edit Affiliate Admin Settings" action icon next to the affiliate's username.
Affiliate Settings
On the next page, you will see a variety of different settings, broken down into three categories. These settings can allow certain actions for affiliates, set trust levels, mark that documents have been received, and more.
Main Settings
The "Main Settings" section allows you to customize affiliate permissions for various activities in Offerit. They include the following:
- In-House Account - Mark an account as in-house, which allows you to exclude their statistics from Profit & Loss Reports and recognize them as working directly for you.
- Account Reviewed - Mark an account as reviewed, indicating that all of their credentials are valid.
- Required Docs - Specifies that any documents that you require have been received.
- Trust Level - Marks an affiliate's trust level at "Not," "Low," "Medium," or "High." This setting does not automatically affect Offerit, but it allows you to perform custom actions using this setting (i.e., a Smarty function that only allows access for High trust levels.)
- Instant Payments - Allows affiliates to receive payouts for one full day of sales, even if they don't reach the specified minimum payout amount.
- Manual Invoice enables the Manual Invoice icon described above. For more details, see the Manual Invoice article
- Approve Payout - Allows you to mark that you have manually approved an affiliate to receive payouts.
- Auto Pending Transactions - Marks every transaction that comes in as pending, which must then be approved or denied by an admin.
- Network Affiliate - Enables functionality to allow networked sub-affiliates for this affiliate.
Optional Flags
The "Optional Flags" section allows you to specially mark certain affiliate accounts for any reason you choose. Keep in mind that this does not necessarily change anything in Offerit, and is mainly meant as an internal identifier for the chosen affiliate(s).
These flag names can be customized with whatever name you wish through the Configuration Admin. Simply navigate to the configuration admin, go to the "Affiliates" section, and scroll down to the "Custom Flags" sub-section.
Here, you will see a set of options marked ADMIN_RESELLER_FLAGX, with the numbers 1-5 replacing "X". Here you can set the custom names for your flags by filling in the appropriate fields. After you have customized your flag names, click Store Changes.
Optional Select Settings
The "Optional Select Settings" section allows you to allow custom permissions for certain settings that you determine. Keep in mind that this does not necessarily change anything in Offerit, and is mainly meant as an internal identifier for the chosen affiliate(s).
These setting names can be customized with whatever name you wish through the Configuration Admin. To do so, simply navigate to the configuration admin, go to the "Affiliates" section, and scroll down to the "Custom Flags" sub-section.
Here, you will see a set of options marked ADMIN_RESELLER_SELECTX, with the numbers 1-5 replacing "X". Here you can set the custom names for your select settings by filling in the appropriate fields. After you have customized your select setting names, click Store Changes.
